In July 2004, OAOL established by Bishop Renwick G. and Evang. Carmaletha Porter
From July 2004 to March 2005, the OAOL church held services at a local hotel and the home of Deacon and Sis Winfrey.
In December 2004, Eld. R.L. Woodson accepted the call to Pastor the people of God at Open Arms of Love Fort Worth, TX.
In April 2005, OAOL purchased and renovated church facility at 5024 Nell Street, Fort Worth, TX
Also in 2005, Eld. R.L. Woodson was Ordained Pastor of the Open Arms of Love Apostolic Church at Texas State Council by Bishop William A. Ellis
In 2010, two lots were purchased at 4701 Richardson Street
In 2013, construction of a new facility at 4701 Richardson
In 2014, the Grand Opening of this new church on Richardson Street in Fort Worth was dedicated
In 2014, Dedication of the Mother Helen E. Porter Fellowship Hall to our late and dear church mother was made
In 2014, A Decade of Excellence Recognition and the Pastor of the Open Arms Of Love Apostolic Church continues to teach, train and ordain ministers at the OAOL Church
Church organized Trustee and Deacons Board and the following auxiliaries: Christian Education Department, Greeters/Ushers/Nurses Guild (G.U.N.S ) Ministry, Outreach, Youth Department, Women’s Ministry, Men’s Ministry. We thank God for continued growth with our Technology Department
2019, Established the “Hospitality Auxiliary of the Open Arms of Love Church
2019, Major renovations were made to the Open Arms of Love facility

WE BELIEVE that the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God, written by holy men of God as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. (II Peter 1:21)
WE BELIEVE in one God who is infinite in power, holy in nature, attributes and purposes as well as omniscient and omnipresent.
WE BELIEVE that He was revealed to us as Father in creation, Son in redemption, and Holy Spirit in His grace, never leaving those who trust in Him. (Deut. 6:4; Is. 45:18; John 1:1,14)
WE BELIEVE that in Jesus dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily, for it pleased the Father that in Him should all the fullness dwell. (Col. 2:9; 1:19; Jn 14:8; 10:30; I John 5:7, Isaiah 43: 10-15)
WE BELIEVE in the Virgin Birth. Jesus was both human and divine; He was God manifested in flesh. (Isaiah 7:14; 9:6; I Timothy 3:16)
WE BELIEVE in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus.
WE BELIEVE that Jesus ascended on high and has sent His Spirit, the Holy Ghost, which was poured out at Jerusalem over 1900 years ago, and it is this same spirit that fills the hearts of those who seek Him today. (Acts 2:22-24; I Cor. 15:20; Acts 2:4)
WE BELIEVE in baptism in water by immersion in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sins and in the baptism of the Holy Ghost, speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance. This constitutes the new birth. (Acts 2:38; St. John 3:3-8; Acts 8:16; 10:44-46; 19:5; Titus 3:5,)
WE BELIEVE in a holy, sanctified life.
WE BELIEVE in divine healing, communion and foot washing.
WE BELIEVE also in the glorious catching away (The Rapture) of the saints when Jesus returns in the clouds of glory to take His people to Heaven. (I Peter 1:16; St. Matthew 5:48; II Corinth. 7:1; I Thess. 4:16; St. Mark 16:17-18)
WE BELIEVE that JESUS is the only saving NAME and so whatsoever you do in word or deed, you should do ALL in the Name of the Lord Jesus. (Acts 4:12; Col. 3:17)
